Club Volkspeed, the father chapter, was established
on December 21, 2000. This date was the first official night the three founders
of Volkspeed cruised as a team. But how did the idea come up? Well, Julio
and Pedro met at a local car wash one Thursday night in November 2000. After
detailing their VW's, they headed out and cruised around town with some buddies.
Unfortunately, they were the only ones with VW's. While cruising, they saw
that most car clubs had all types of imports. The only club that stuck to
their kind was that of the Neon's. It was then the both came up with the idea
of an all-VW club. Later that month, they met Logan who had the same idea
but no one to back him up. The three founders then started gathering up names
and logos until Volkspeed came up. The stickers were then made and the team
cruised for the first time on December 21,2000! Audi and Seat later were
allowed in the club after a few buddies were interested. Now, all the VAG-family
is welcomed.

Logan se mudó a Guadalajara durante el mes
de agosto del año 2001. Una meta que tenía era de empezar otro
capítulo del club en México. Durante los meses de agosto y
septiembre, Logan se encontraba con muy poca suerte. Fué en los
últimos meses del 2001 que Logan logró obtener varios miembros
para poder empezar el club. Ya con el club empezado y la ayuda de Enrique,
ambos pudieron lograr a juntar dozenas de miembros. Logan después
se mudó en diciembre del 2003 a Reynosa y Enrique y sus hijos se quedaron
a cargo del club. La falta de comunicación por teléfono e internet
no han dejado poder poner mas informes tocante los eventos y miembros en esta
región del país. Ultimamente, no se sabe nada del club
y pues se ha dado de halta.

Logan se mudó a Reynosa durante el mes de
diciembre del año 2003. Al llegar a Reynosa, sabía que empezar
otro capítulo del club en México sería aún más
dificil que en Guadalajara. Logan, decidido por empezar el capítulo,
buscaba miembros hasta que al fin se encontró varios miembros que le
empezaron a ayudar con el crecimiento del club en reynosa. Poco a poco, el
capítulo de Reynosa ha seguido creciendo.

José Luis and Eric met Julio and Pedro at the South Texas Scorcher
on August 2003. Both José Luis and Eric had plans of starting
their own club in Brownsville prior to the event. All four kept in
touch the remainder of the 2004 and the Brownsville crew had yet no name
for the club. In March 2004, Julio and Pedro offered José Luis and
Eric the opportunity of starting a club chapter in Brownsville. Both agreed.
Within the following months and a reputable name on their side, both continued
inviting local VW owners to join the club. The Brownsville chapter has been
a keystone in expanding what is now the Club Volkspeed legacy.

Jorge joined the Brownsville chapter in June 2004. He later helped recruit
Efrén and Adrián to join the Brownsville chapter in October
2004. Within the following months, the guys had recruited a few members from
Harlingen into the Brownsville chapter. Noticing the demand for a Harlingen
chapter, the three guys requested for an opportunity in creating a Club Volkspeed
Harlingen Chapter in December 2004. Pedro and Julio welcomed the new
chapter. Having members to start the club and a reputable name on their side,
the Harlingen chapter has helped on expanding the Club Volkspeed Legacy in
